Interlibrary Loan

1. For Peking University faculty, students and staff

the Interlibrary Borrowing Service acquires materials not already owned by Peking University library for students, faculty and staff.

Submitting Requests

Interlibrary borrowing: Faculty, students and staff may submit requests through Interlibrary Loan System

China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library (CASHL): Directly borrow materials from CASHL member libraries. Check CASHL website for eligibility.

Beijing Academic Library & Information System (BALIS): Directly borrow materials from libraries in Beijing. Check BALIS website for eligibility.

In order to improve access to resources not owned by Peking University Library, a number of reciprocal borrowing arrangements have been established with selected institutions. The purpose of these agreements is to allow Peking University’s students, faculty, and staff to go directly to another library and borrow the resources they need in person.

2. For non-Peking Univerisy users and institutions

Interlibrary lending: Peking University Library encourages resource sharing. A number of reciprocal borrowing agreements have been established with some institutions throughout China and the world. You can contact us at :
